Another beer can chicken weekend, this time with a cajun rub. I marinated the chicken in beer and cajun rub for 45 minutes before cooking, then applied oil and the rub. For beer I used “the beer that made Milwaukee famous”, Schlitz (original 60’s recipe), which I purchased at the county liquor store for $9.99 a case!

The cajun rub I made consisted of sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, sweet paprika, pepper, cayenne pepper, and some old bay seasoning thrown in as well.
